As part of our Focus on Africa Project, serendipity brought us this timeless image of Christy Turlington in 1990 in Kenya. We understand the photo was by Hans Feurer for American Vogue, and it was the last time Christy ran in Africa.
Christy will be back in Africa in early March to run again, this time a half-marathon for her project - Every Mile Every Mother. This is organiZed by non-profit organization Every Mom Counts, founded
by Christy Turlington to support women during pregnancy and birth
all over the world!
